Components of a Calendar Date

The components of a calendar date are as shown below.  This is not the formula for the DoW technique, but it leads into it:

MONTH + DAY + (CENTURY + YEAR)  = DAY-OF-WEEK

Notes:
- Century refers to the first two digits of the full four-digit year.
- The Year refers to the last two digits of the full four-digit year.
